Update Element Revealing 3

The third element that will be included in the next update is the Link Play Mode

There are actually not much casual game on the App Store provide link play experience. Uggy will be a casual game with blue tooth link play mode. It will support 2 players play the game together by blue tooth.

Link Play Mode is further divided into 2 gameplay mode: Hostile Mode and Friendly Mode

Friendly Mode:
2 of you will be co-operate to travel as deep as possible. 2 Uggy will share the same health bar, which means that hurt in either one of the player will reduce the total health of them. This increase the difficulty of the game and players result are relying on each others' skill.

Hostile Mode:
Your main task in hostile mode is to make your opponent die before you do. You can block his way, push him off the edge, use shield to damage him. And you should be careful not to fall off the edge. The one stand at last win the game.

In addition, there will be unique ranking board on the OpenFeint for Friendly and Hostile Mode individually. You can view and compare your link play result with other players in the world!

Update Element Revealing 2

The second element to be updated will be the control style.

From the feedbacks from users of the current version, some users asked for alternative choices of control style. We decided to add more control styles into the game. There will be 3 control styles in the coming update.

Tilt Control
The default control style in current version of the game. It will still be availabled in the next version. Just tilt the device to control Uggy's movement, the moving speed is proportional to the tilted angle.


Pad Control
One of the new control styles in the coming update. Arrows indicating direction will be shown at the buttom of the screen. Pressing the arrows to control Uggy's movement. Moving Speed is constant which can be set in option's sensitivity.


Point Control
Another new control style in the coming update. There will be a bar at the button of the screen. Touch the bar to indicate the horizontal target position, Uggy will then walk to that position. The moving speed is judged by the distance between the point and Uggy's current position. That's mean point at a far distination make Uggy walk faster.



Different control styles provide a different experience in playing the game. Hope the new version of the game can provide a control style that users fond of. :)

Update Element Revealing 1

All of the elements to be updated is confirmed now
The update is still under developement and expected to be release on late-April

Starting from today, we are going to disclose detail of the upcoming update here, with each time revealing parts of the update.

First of all, the life system will be modifed. Since most of the people die so fast in the game, we inceased Uggy's life into 3. So that game will not over if Uggy falls out of the screen. Uggy can still recover its life slowly by stepping on different platforms. And can even recover to  3 full health bar at maximum

original version of health bar
Full Hp will be green, Level will decrease when hurt and red area appear. Uggy die when no more green area.


And the new version of health bar indicating 3 life will be like this:
Full HP will still be green. Hurting will now first reveal yellow area. When no more green area it means Uggy consumed one life. And further hurting will starts to consume yellow bar, and then red bar. When the bar becomes empty with no colour inside, game is over.

This greatly extend the game cycle for playing and hope can bring more interesting to players
